Having been a fitness enthusiast for most of my life, I have tried a multitude of fitness programs over the years, and as a certified personal trainer, have even developed my own programs for myself and my clients. Eighteen months ago I came across Dennis Heenan's, The Superhero Body, and discovered a whole new fitness world in online training.
I had been in a bit of a rut and was having a difficult time staying motivated in my own training. What once had been a great passion for me had become burdensome and ineffective. I train out of my house so not having the positive energy from a gym or group classes left me uninspired and contemplating whether or not I even wanted to stay in the fitness industry.
I purchased The Superhero Body, and for the first time in six years began following the coaching and instruction of someone other than myself, and my results were not only physically remarkable, but they were also mentally and emotionally significant. My seven pound weight fluctuation stabilized and my lean body mass improved. But due to Dennis' online support group and almost daily emails filled with inspiration and innovative ways to train, I rediscovered my passion and enthusiasm for fitness and living life as healthy as possible.
What I discovered while training with his programs is that I don't have to kill myself for an hour and a half or longer five days a week to see results. His programs redirected my intensity level to short, highly demanding workouts that produced the same results I was getting from my long and exhausting workouts. The biggest difference however was that I no longer experienced burnout or fatigue from over training.
Now, at 50 years old, I am in the best shape of my life and feel better than I ever have. His programs are founded on solid research and are designed for anyone regardless of age or fitness level. They are fun, fast, and most importantly, results-driven. His programs truly are one of the best fitness tools I own, and I look forward to many more years of training with them!
